JUDICIAL SYSTEM
The Supreme Court, which is composed of 9 new members and the Tribunals and Courts that establish the law exercise the judicial power. The Supreme Court is the maximum authority. A sentence pronounced by the Supreme Court cannot be appealed.
The Courts and Tribunals are divided into civil, commercial, criminal, labor and juvenile courts. The Courts hear the cases first while the Tribunals have jurisdiction over the appeals. The judges are in office for 5 years.
