BORDERS
The Republic of Paraguay, the heart of South America, is a Mediterranean country. Its frontiers extend 3.484 kilometers to its borders with Argentina, Brazil and Bolivia.
To the North: Brazil, which is separated by the Apa River, the Estrella River and the Maracayu Mountain Range. Bolivia, which is separated by the Negro River and by a straight line that runs from the Negro until the Cerrito Jara then continues until the highest point of the Cerro Chovoreca.
To the East: Brazil, separated by the Paraguay River, the Abambay Mountain Range, the Paraná River and the Salto del Guiara until joining the Ygazu River that separates the state of Matto Grosso and the state of Paraná.
To the South: The Paraná River separates the provinces of Argentina de Misiones and Corrientes and the Pilcomayo River that separates the province of Formosa.
To the West: Bolivia
