CLIMATE

Due to its latitude position on both sides of the Tropic of Capricorn, Paraguay is situated in a limited tropical climate zone.

The climate can be defined as tropical with its dry season in the winter of the southern hemisphere and strong contrasts in the east-west direction. The average annual temperature is 22.5 C (71 F).

The summer temperature averages 26.1 C (79 F) and winter averages 20.8 C (68 F).
